The origin of this vineyard dates back to the 14th century; It was the property of Francis de Goth, lord of Landiras, nephew of Pope Clement V, who named it "Caillou d'Artigues". The entire vineyard extends on the south slope of the hillside of Artigues.

Beautiful garnet with a deep garnet, a nose with fruity notes. It offers a fresh and lasting mouth on smooth tannins.
Location : Town of Landiras, south side of the hill of Artigues, altitude 36 meters, southern exposure.
Soil : Pure bass soil with clayey subsoil on the hillside, and pure and deep bass subsoil in the plain.
Conduct of the Vineyard : Cultivation of soils, reasonable management and sustainable (modeling allowed thanks to a close relationship with INRA), organic manure, control of yields by a 'short' size and a green harvest.
Density : 5555 feet / hectare.
Plantation axis : East-West.
Œnologue : Louis-Michel Musyt, winemaker of oenology is assisted by Henri Boyer of the Laboratory OENOCONSEIL which ensures the continuous monitoring of our wines.
Surface : 16 hectares of vines aged 20 years on average.
Grape variety : 80 % Merlot, 20% Cabernet.
Harvest : Young vines: mechanical, destemming, crushing and sorting in the vat. Old vines: manual in openwork cages.
Fermentation : In thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, draining of vats. Macerations of 15 to 20 days, assembly at the end of the fermentations.
Ageing : 8 to 10 months in oak barrels.
Production : Approximately 100,000 bottles.

Beautiful pale yellow color, intense nose with citrus notes (lemon and grapefruit), and exotic fruits (passion fruit and pineapple). In the mouth: ample attack with a lot of fat and volume, the palate is impressive by its fruity side and its aromatic persistence.

Grape variety : 60% Sauvignon, 40% Sémillon.
Harvest : Manual in openwork cages.
Fermentation : At low temperature in small stainless steel tanks and regular stirring of the lees.
Production : Approximately 35,000 bottles.
